Usage Tips:
– Cook on low heat. For stewing, start with medium heat until boiling, then switch to low.
– Make sure the flame doesn’t go beyond the bottom of the pot.
– Avoid empty cooking.
– You can stir-fry on low heat for a short time, but don’t do high-heat frying.
– If you need to add water after frying, use hot water to avoid sudden temperature changes.
– Try not to use metal spatulas or steel wool to prevent scratches.
– In the beginning, cook more fatty foods; the tiny pores in the surface will absorb the oil, creating a non-stick layer that improves with use.
-Avoid using Microwave/ Dishwasher
Cleaning Tips:
– Use a sponge or dish cloth to wash the pot.
– Don’t rinse a hot pot with cold water right after use, as it may cause cracks or damage the enamel.
– After washing, dry the rim and lid edges to prevent rust, since it’s made of cast iron.
– It’s not recommended to put the enamel pot in the dishwasher because it’s heavy and could get bumped around.
